Shoal Grass Lodge is dedicated to the comfort of all our guests and we want you to always feel at home. We suggest "lodge casual" dress - jeans or shorts, T-shirts or other casual wear in the common areas. Temperatures are generally mild throughout the fall and winter months, and summer is time for shorts and cool clothing. We'll send you a weather forecast for the period of your stay so that you can pack accordingly.

We encourage you to bring workout wear for a morning run or walk in the fresh coastal air, but ask that you not select the same for or lounging in the Lodge's Great Room or other common areas. For golf, collared shirts, Bermuda shorts or resort casual attire is recommended. T-shirts or high-performance fishing wear is suggested for those outings, and you'll want to pack warm and dry clothing for the hunting. For any on-the-water activities, a good cap or hat with large bill is recommended, along with quality polarized sunglasses. Sunscreen and insect repellent should be in your personals.
